Niamh Duffy and Band Present The Emmylou Harris Songbook

North County Dublin singer Niamh Duffy was raised on a cocktail of great American Country Musicians like Meryl Haggard, Hank Williams and Willie Nelson. But thanks to her father’s borderline obsession, the artist that dominated her childhood home and influenced her most was Emmylou Harris.

With her captivating voice and stunning beauty, coupled with her ability to perform heart breaking love songs and dirty country rock in the next breath, Harris is the quintessential Americana Artist.

Wanting to present the music of Harris to those who share her love and also to a new audience, Niamh has assembled a group of fantastic musicians who share in her vision, for a one-off performance of some of Harris’s best loved songs.

Among her band is the man responsible for introducing her to the music of Emmylou Harris. Her father Peter Flynn is on Keys, alongside Bassist Joey Hughes, Drummer Paddy O’Meara, Lead Guitarist Niall Gilchrist and on Fiddle, Séan Regan.

Together they present The Emmylou Harris Songbook, a night not to be missed!
