‘Bike Week’ is a celebration and promotion of the benefits of cycling and takes place from Saturday 9th to Sunday 17th May. Cycling is one of the most sustainable forms of travel and a family friendly activity. As a transport option cycling has one of the lowest impacts on the planet and the environment, impacting positively on air and noise pollution.

There’s never been a better time to get on a bike! The purpose of Bike Week to encourage new, occasional, and seasoned cyclists to make cycling part of their lifestyle.

Bike Week 2026 will run from Saturday 9th – Sunday 17th May 2026. It’s easy, fun and there’s something for everyone.

Enjoy a wide range of events from community and school cycles, fun bike festivals, safety workshops and much more.

Join us in the heart of Inchicore at Richmond Barracks for our Harvest Fair on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September from 11 am to 5 pm. The Harvest Fair celebrates the abundance of the season inspired by the Fair themes of Eat, Grow and Make. There will be free creative and cultural workshops for all ages.
