LEO Dublin City: HR Scenario – Planning for Protecting your Business during Covid-19 – Online/Zoom.

This training is designed to support business owners through difficult decision-making. Are you worried about the appropriate steps you need to take to protect your business through Covid-19. Are you considering options for employees and contractors around redundancy, redeployment, or reduction in pay and would like some guidance on the best course of action. This practical, participative workshop will guide you through scenario planning, employer obligations and the fundamentals of redeployment, redundancy and related options.

Topics will include
– Business scenario planning.
– Managing your people resources – who does the work, how, where and when.
– Employer obligations.
– Reviewing options around temporary lay-offs, redeployment, redundancy.
– Managing absence due to illness.
– Support available for employers.
– Building a sustainable resource plan.

How is it delivered
– Virtual/ online classroom based.
– Delivered through ZOOM online platform.
– Each workshop includes periods of teaching (using ppt/ whiteboard/ video and other tools) interspersed with highly practical online breakout groups where participants can work in small teams to collaborate, problem solve and support each other(supported by the facilitator).

Every December The Fumbally give over the full building to a three day market of independent creatives, food producers, artists and traders of all sorts. Emphasis is on small, independent businesses and a community vibe that is 100% about supporting local at Christmas without even needing to say it (although we just did. Ha!) All indoors and over two floors, there is food from the kitchen, mulled wine and mince pies (of course) an annual raffle that raises money for a local charity and the fumbally café always open alongside.
