MusicTown returns in a brand-new format to pay homage to one of Dublin’s greatest music icons, Philip Lynott. Taking place in various locations across Dublin, the programme will feature screenings, live concerts, discussion events and a four-day exhibition reflecting on the life and times of the late Thin Lizzy singer and renowned solo artist. On Tuesday, 29 September 2026, five of Dublin's hottest up-and-coming acts, Soft Rules, SAOL, The Psychs, Conor Kinsella, and Punter, will take the stage for Irish Roulette, a one-night event where the running order isn't set backstage; it's set on a spinning wheel, by an audience member, live, in front of everyone. Here's how it works: all five names go up on the wheel. Through the night, punters get pulled up on stage to give it a spin, and whoever it lands on plays next. Nobody, not the bands, not the promoters, not the audience, knows the lineup until it's happening in real time.
