Job Hunting: Interview Tips & Techniques – A free one hour webinar with business and recruitment expert Joe Morris.

At the moment, a lot of people may either find themselves out of a job or in a limbo state where they are not sure they will still have a job. It is very possible that you had not expected to be looking for a new job this year. Perhaps the last time you had to do an interview was quite some time ago. Either way, it looks like there may be many people looking for a new position when things return to whatever new normal may be. This 60 minute talk will help get you back into the right frame of mind, right now! Even if you don't have a position in mind yet, or you are in the state of limbo not knowing what will happen later this summer, this talk should help get you thinking.

It will cover:

  • Deciding which positions or which jobs to go for.
  • Preparing for the interview (what to do in advance, and on the actual day). Online and in-person.
  • Suggested approach to the interview
  • Suggested after the interview checklist

You will be asked a few short questions at registration to ensure that the talk can cover what you need. The main speaker's content will be recorded for future use, however no attendees details or faces will be recorded. You will receive a Zoom meeting link 1 day before the course starts. Participants must have access to a laptop or mobile phone with a camera and microphone and be able to host the zoom software on their device. All participants must also have a valid email address to receive the invite code for the webinar and to optionally provide feedback after the webinar. This email will be shared with the webinar host for this session only and will not be held on file by Tallaght Library.
