Portmarnock Beach 5K Race

Portmarnock Beach

Portmarnock AC's popular annual Portmarnock Beach 5K Race returns to Co Dublin on 28 August 2026. The start line is at the Shelters on Portmarnock Beach and the course is a flat out and back loop. As well as the main 5km race there is also a 2km run for those under 15 years and a 400m Kids colour run for under 8s. The 5km event is chip timed and open to club runners, casual runners and walkers. Distances/Events 6:00pm - Kids' (U8) 400m colour run - (FREE - Under8 - No Registration Required) 6:30pm - Juvenile 2K (€7.50 - u15) 7pm - Senior 5K (€25 - Age 15+)

Join us at Skerries Mills for a Harvest Celebration on the 29th and 30th of August. Harvest Time is a time of Joy, Sharing, Community, and Connection with the land. Skerries Mills Industrial Heritage Museum invites you to its heritage lands for an open day, at the time of harvesting the crops in our Crop Field. There will be music, demonstrations, stalls, displays, and a range of activities for all ages. Come early to watch the harvest come in! Save the date and follow Skerries Mills on Socials for updates.
