Hotter than July – An annual celebration of the cultural diversity within our city, through music and dance from around the world, supported by Dublin City Council.

Now in its 7th year, Hotter than July is moving to an online space for 2020, celebrating inclusivity and diversity with music, story-telling, and creativity that is accessible to everyone from home! A full programme of upbeat music and dance, it is high quality event that is accessible to all, offering a kaleidoscope of joyful music from around the world, for an event that everyone can enjoy.

This year, you can access 10 days of events on Facebook and YouTube, including short performances of everything from Cuban dance music to Indonesian gamelan, songs and story-telling for young audiences, and chances to participate through instrument-making workshops and an online choir!

The iconic annual Jaipur Literature Festival, held each year in the fabled Pink City of Jaipur, is the grand dame of international literary festivals. JLF International carries the Festival’s arc, sparkle and spirit across continents: an inspiring literary series spanning America, Britain, and continental Europe. JLF came to Belfast in 2019, an encounter of rich literary traditions from Northern Ireland and across the world, supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
