‘Bike Week’ is a celebration and promotion of the benefits of cycling and takes place from Saturday 9th to Sunday 17th May. Cycling is one of the most sustainable forms of travel and a family friendly activity. As a transport option cycling has one of the lowest impacts on the planet and the environment, impacting positively on air and noise pollution. There’s never been a better time to get on a bike! The purpose of Bike Week to encourage new, occasional, and seasoned cyclists to make cycling part of their lifestyle. Bike Week 2026 will run from Saturday 9th – Sunday 17th May

History will be made on May 17th 2026 when Ireland welcome Scotland to Aviva Stadium in what will be the first standalone Guinness Women’s Six Nations fixture staged at the Dublin venue.
