Guided Tour – Shamrocks and Shillelaghs.
During the month of the feast of Saint Patrick, the National Botanic Gardens are hosting a special Irish plants and folklore tour. Hear about the magical myths & legends surrounding Irish plants from ancient to modern times. Find out which plant is the ‘real shamrock', meet the nobles of the wood, and learn about fairies in the forests.
