Flourish Series 2021

This event has ended

Button Factory, Tuesday 12th October - Friday 15th October

A series of four intimate concerts celebrating the return to live music and promoting a more sustainable, conscious, and kind cultural landscape.

The Flourish series is made up of a combination of new and already established artists, many of whom we’ve seen continue to grow over the last 19 months despite the absence of live shows. We are absolutely thrilled to welcome these artists back to perform in front of a live audience and give all of us the chance to experience some of the best contemporary music coming out of our community.

The venue will be re-imagined and transformed into a beautiful green space for this series. Not only will each attendee be encouraged to immerse themselves in live music once more, but we also hope to plant a seed by giving each artist, attendee, and crew a wildflower seed pack. A gift from us, and a gentle reminder of the important and impactful role we can all play in the ecosystem.

Kicking off on Tuesday, October 12th, and running until Friday, October 15th we’ve got Ireland’s most exciting hip hop, r&b, soul, and electronic artists taking to the stage in front of a live audience for the first time Aby Coulibaly, Monjola, Elzzz x Trever, SELLÓ, and Fay’D alongside established artists such as Paddy Mulchay, Malaki, Gemma Dunleavy, SHIV, R.Kitt, EMA and more.

We ask all attendees to join us in Planting a Tree In Ireland, with the option to add €2 to your ticket, which covers the cost of planting at least one native Irish tree in Ireland. Partnering with Trees on the Land, who are working to leave a living legacy of tree cover and woodland for future generations, we will match each donation by gig-goer each year and more. We’ve so far helped plant 1165 Trees in Ireland thanks to donations in 2020.

The series is proudly presented alongside District Magazine and will be recorded and archived by Collective Films. A very special thanks to the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts for supporting this project.
