The world’s best hockey teams are coming to Ireland as Dublin prepares to host the FIH Hockey Pro League – Season 7 this December.

For the very first time, the Ireland Women will take their place in the “League of the Best”, competing alongside the world’s top hockey nations after securing their promotion last season.

From December 9–14, the Sport Ireland Campus will welcome six action-packed days of elite international hockey, featuring 6 teams and 12 unmissable games:

  • Women’s teams: Ireland, England, and Belgium go head-to-head.
  • Men’s teams: England, Belgium, and Germany battle it out.

This is a rare chance to see world-class hockey on home soil – and to witness history as the Green Army make their FIH Hockey Pro League debut.

The 2026 race will take place on Thursday, July 9th, starting at 7:45pm. The distance is 5k, run over a flat, fast loop in Dublin's Docklands area. Organised by the runners from Crusaders Athletic Club, the Docklands 5k race is held with the help of the generous sponsorship, provided by many companies located in the Docklands and surrounding areas. The Irish Life Fingal 10k is part of the Irish Life Dublin Race Series and will take place on Sunday July 12th at 9.30am. Runners will be presented with a finishers medal, race t-shirt and goodie bag at the end of the race.
