FIH Hockey Pro League  ‘The League of the Best’

The world’s best hockey teams are coming to Ireland as Dublin prepares to host the FIH Hockey Pro League – Season 7 this December.

For the very first time, the Ireland Women will take their place in the “League of the Best”, competing alongside the world’s top hockey nations after securing their promotion last season.

From December 9–14, the Sport Ireland Campus will welcome six action-packed days of elite international hockey, featuring 6 teams and 12 unmissable games:

  • Women’s teams: Ireland, England, and Belgium go head-to-head.
  • Men’s teams: England, Belgium, and Germany battle it out.

This is a rare chance to see world-class hockey on home soil – and to witness history as the Green Army make their FIH Hockey Pro League debut.

This will be a sensational game under lights in what could be a deciding fixture for Ireland’s World Cup hopes The Republic of Ireland were denied a precious point in the in reverse fixture in Lisbon, as a 91st-minute header from Rúben Neves sealed all three points for the home side, despite an excellent defensive display from the Boys in Green.
