Family SportFest returns to the Sport Ireland National Sports Campus this year, celebrating everything wonderful about sport and getting your family to experience the magic of over 20 different sports in our world class facilities.

To celebrate European Week of Sport, we are hosting an exciting family day out to encourage participation in a range of activities, to celebrate sport and promote active, healthy lifestyles. The day will be filled with demonstrations, sports personality appearances, taster sessions, a skillzone, guest speakers, educational talks and more.

On the day you and your family can experience:

  • Meet Irish sporting heroes
  • Challenge each other in our skills challenge zone
  • Try out a bunch of new sports and experience
  • Watch some amazing demonstrations
  • Bounce and roll in our inflatable Funzone
  • Get coaching tips from top coaches & sport stars
  • Listen to the stars from all different sports as they chat about their experiences and growing up with sport
  • Find out about local sport programmes in your area
  • Join in our inclusive games for all ages and abilities
  • Lift famous trophies like your heroes

Depaul's Raft Race Against Homelessness is back! The date has been brought forward to capitalise (hopefully...) on the  good weather. The race will take place on a Thursday evening, so you can slip out of work and down to the Dock for some fun, summertime rafting.
