ESGE Days 2020Cancelled – at The Convention Centre Dublin.

ESGE Days 2020 is cancelled –
“On behalf of the ESGE Executive Committee and Governing Board, it is with great regret that I announce we will not hold our ESGE Days 2020 congress. For the past several weeks, we extensively explored alternative congress options, including postponement, but no appropriate date could be found. Thus, in light of the ever increasing incidence rates and restrictions with regards to travel and to safeguard the health and safety of our participants, faculty, staff and the citizens of our host nation, Ireland, we are forced to cancel ESGE Days 2020.”

The goals of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) have always been underpinned by the fundamental aims of increasing quality of care, establishing guidelines for best practice and developing educational programmes. After the resounding success of our first two congresses, we are happy to invite you to ESGE Days 2020, taking place in Dublin, Ireland in April 2020.

ESGE Days has already proven itself to be an attractive congress for all those interested in endoscopy. Our aspiration from the outset was to bring together the whole endoscopy team and we met our goal. Alongside fully trained endoscopists and heads of units, nurses and the aspiring new generation of residents and fellows joined us in Prague to discuss advances in our field, contributing to continued education and sharing the latest updates. In Dublin, renowned experts will again gather for a state-of-the-art meeting, bringing together live demonstration, lectures, hands-on training, specialised symposia and discussions.

After welcoming more than 1,400 participants in Budapest in 2018 and 2,400 participants from 97 countries in Prague in 2019, we anticipate a highly successful congress in Dublin. We would therefore like to extend a welcome to our colleagues, both fully trained and in-training, across the fields of gastroenterology and endoscopic nursing.

We look forward to welcoming you to Dublin!

Professor Mário Dinis-Ribeiro,
ESGE Days 2020 Chair,
on behalf of the ESGE Days team.

Dublin Independent Fashion Week

Various Locations

Dublin Independent Fashion Week was founded in 2023 by a group of designers who recognised a gap in Ireland's fashion landscape: the lack of an accessible, independent platform dedicated to supporting homegrown talent. Built by volunteers, DIFW was created to give designers opportunities to showcase their work, connect with new audiences, and build sustainable careers on their own terms. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a week-long programme of runway shows, exhibitions, workshops, and community-led events. Today, DIFW continues to grow its platform, partnerships, and
