One Dublin One Book is a Dublin City Council initiative, led by Dublin City Libraries, which encourages everyone to read a book connected with the capital city during the month of April every year. The Annual Messiah on the Street returns at 1.00pm, Sunday 13th April on Fishamble Street, Dublin 8. Celebrating the world premiere of Messiah, all are welcome to this on-street performance. Up to 120 singers from Our Lady’s Choral Society and guests will join The Dublin Handelian Orchestra and Heather Sammon – Mezzo Soprano (Soloist) for a performance of excerpts from Handel’s Messiah.
