The renowned Dalkey Lobster Festival, proudly sponsored by Guinness, Tanqueray, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, County Council and Fáilte Ireland, is set to return to the picturesque coastal town in south Dublin from the 22 – 23 August. Prepare for a weekend of culinary indulgence, live music, street entertainment, and artisan exhibits, all before the children go back to school.
Castle street will once again be transformed into “Cuisine de Dalkey” as all of the eateries will be cooking up your festival favourites. Everything from lobster rolls, mussels, crab claws, oysters, paella, seafood chowder and fish n’ chips will be on the menu. The Tramyard Village will return this year with even more market stalls showcasing everything from vintage clothing to art, jewellery, artisan products and everything in between. The Dalkey Town Hall will showcase a fine art and craft fair.
