Cheerful Earful

Hen's Teeth, Sunday 8th November

Cheerful Earful began half a decade ago as a four-day festival hosted at a handful of London pubs. Since then, it has grown into the world’s funniest podcast festival: a global community of podcasters and fans, built organically from the ground up. This year, the festival will debut in Dublin with a day-long event on 8 November at Hen’s Teeth, one of the city’s best-loved cultural hubs.

Cheerful Earful is the global festival of funny podcasts. Founded in 2022, it takes over stages in London, Melbourne, and New York every Autumn, giving audiences the chance to see their favourite funny shows live and discover new gems. This year, the festival is adding Dublin, Belfast, Brighton and Edinburgh to the lineup. The festival is proudly independent, free to apply for, and committed to platforming emerging and indie podcasters alongside internationally recognised names. Cheerful Earful is operated by Giddy Aunt Comedy Ltd.

The Reytons

3Olympia

From topping the UK charts as a completely independent act to headlining major festivals and performing a capacity concert at the legendary Wembley Arena in 2025, The Reytons have defied every industry expectation. Having hurdled every obstacle with nothing but blue-collar grit and determination, the band—comprising Jonny Yerrell, Joe O'Brien, Lee Holland, and Jamie Todd—is now ready to take their "all-killer, no-filler" sound global. The Dublin date forms a key stop on the band’s highly anticipated first-ever World Tour.

Ardal O’Hanlon – Not Himself

Draiocht

Oh, it’s all there! All the trademarks are in evidence in Ardal’s latest show. Beautifully crafted stand-up comedy? Yes. Celebrated use of language? Tick. Lateral thinking, surreal flourishes, sharp observations? Of course. As for the occasional profundity? Maybe. Despite his best attempts over many decades to put the world to rights, it is still a colossal mess. And so, Ardal has no choice but to go out on the road again. Like the good comedy doctor he is, he fearlessly diagnoses the various pathologies and neuroses that are currently ravaging humanity. Disclaimer: No solutions provide
