Join in the celebration of live performance as the best of independent music is brought together in a lively atmosphere at the Busker Fleadh, taking place ONLINE for the first time on the 3rd and 4th of October, in line with current COVID-19 safety guidelines. Brought to you by Dublin City Council, this FREE family-friendly event will showcase some of the best musical talent and street performance Ireland has to offer.

The event will be streamed on the Busker Fleadh Facebook page and YouTube channel, featuring a diverse line up of bands and solo acts playing both well-known hits and original compositions. From the comfort of their own homes, viewers will have an opportunity to enjoy live performances, discover their new favourite buskers, vote for their favourite and watch as one lucky act is chosen as the winner of The Dublin Busker Fleadh!

First prize is a free recording session with a professional sound engineer (valued at €1,000) in Windmill Lane Recording Studios and a digital copy of the recordings, and second prize will win a new model Hudson Guitar (valued at €300) from Gandharva Loka and Hudson Guitar Co!

RockJam Music School will be hosting various music workshops and activities over the weekend, suitable for all ages and musical abilities. From performance tips to specific instrument workshops, RockJam have everything budding musicians need to hone their skills.

Whether you’re a fan of rock, rap, folk or hip hop, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy at the Busker Fleadh Online, Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th September!

Ukulele Hooley in Dún Laoghaire to host 2000 ukulele players Get ready for a weekend of music, fun and community spirit as the Ukulele Hooley returns to Dún Laoghaire for its 15th year on 22-23 August. Europe’s longest-running ukulele festival will bring together around 2,000 ukulele players from Ireland and across the globe for the much-anticipated Big Jam in the People’s Park.
