Experience Ballet Ireland’s Cinderella like you’ve never seen before set in the grandeur of New York in the 1950’s. A powerful story of resilience, romance and self-discovery in a timeless tale that never loses its resonance.

Travel back to the grandeur and iconic romance of New York City in the 1950’s, where Ella is forging a new life for herself after emigrating from her beloved home in Ireland. Alone, but dreaming of a better future, Ella finds work in Manhattan’s exclusive playground for the elite, The Park Plaza Hotel. With the announcement of a grand ball being held for the birthday of Alexander Vanderbilt, Ella’s bewitching fate is set in motion.

This exciting, new, distinctively Irish ballet will be choreographed by Loughlan Prior. Named one of Dance Magazine’s ‘25 to Watch in 2025,’ Prior is an internationally renowned, award winning choreographer, Described by Dance Aotearoa New Zealand as ‘a creative tour de force.’

Highlighting themes of identity and self-worth, hope, optimism, and the power of dreams, Ballet Ireland’s Cinderella will have wide audience appeal and profound resonances that will be remembered long after the curtain calls.
