AUDACITY – The Conference

TU Dublin, Grangegorman, Saturday 7th June

On Saturday, 7th June 2025, a transformative new event will take place at Technology University Dublin, East Quad, Grangegorman — and it’s called AUDACITY.

Planned and powered by the Black Irish Sisters Network, AUDACITY is a celebration of courage, visibility, and voice. Rooted in the lived experiences of Black-Irish women, it is a gathering that welcomes every woman and ally who has ever felt the pressure to shrink — and chose instead to rise.

“Audacity is for every woman who has ever felt invisible and dared to take
up space anyway. It’s a space to be seen, to belong, and to be celebrated,”
said Councillor Yemi Adenuga, the convener for Audacity Conference

Dublin Independent Fashion Week

Various Locations

Dublin Independent Fashion Week was founded in 2023 by a group of designers who recognised a gap in Ireland's fashion landscape: the lack of an accessible, independent platform dedicated to supporting homegrown talent. Built by volunteers, DIFW was created to give designers opportunities to showcase their work, connect with new audiences, and build sustainable careers on their own terms. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a week-long programme of runway shows, exhibitions, workshops, and community-led events. Today, DIFW continues to grow its platform, partnerships, and
