Since the inaugural festival in 2022, Arts and Minds has become a staple event in the University’s annual calendar of events. From performances by the Irish National Opera, to movie screenings with acclaimed directors, live music performances, Irish-language arts events, and literary discussion and readings with world-famous authors, we're delighted to host each May a festival that curious culture vultures everywhere will enjoy.

The Big Dig, a Viking adventure for kids!. Dive into history and discover the fascinating world of the Vikings, an educational adventure awaits! Join us on 16th and 17th of April for The Big Dig at Dublinia, presented by the School of Irish Archaeology. The replica Viking House and excavation site will offer children a hands-on archaeology experience. Unearth Viking treasures and artefacts, and learn about our Viking ancestors from qualified archaeologists. Places are limited, so come early to reserve your spot.
