Join us for a meaningful and energising day in the beautiful surrounds of St. Anne’s Park, Dublin 5, for Age Action's BIG 5k. This is our first 5k event and we hope to see you there!
This inclusive, non-competitive walk is open to people of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're walking with friends, family, or on your own, every step you take will help support older people across Ireland to live with dignity, independence, and equality.

Set against the scenic backdrop of one of Dublin’s most loved parks, the 5 km route offers a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone—from seasoned walkers to first-timers.

Dublin City Council has been announced as the title sponsor of the Dublin City Half Marathon, which will take place on Sunday, 3rd May 2026. The race date has moved from March to the May Bank Holiday weekend, a change designed to better balance the needs of runners, and the wider city community.
