Hugh Lane Gallery is thrilled to announce the continuation of ‘After Hours’, an exciting series of evening events in the gallery. From art workshops to live music, delicious food and drinks and expert exhibition tours, these evenings promise a vibrant cultural experience.

We are open until 8:30pm on Thursdays with Admission Free, however, last entry is 8.10pm): Take it at your own pace and enjoy our creative oasis.

  • Pawfect Christmas Card Workshop | 18.00-19.00 & 19.00-20.00 | Free, drop-in or book here by paying €8pp for Sip & Craft: Join artist Magnus Mudrack in creating gorgeous Christmas cards featuring your furry friends! Design personalised Christmas cards with a Dublin artist. No prior experience needed. All supplies are provided.There are 2 Workshops scheduled for the evening 6pm-7pm and 7pm-8pm.Ticketing options:

  • Yuletide Singalong| From 18.00-20.00 | Free – drop-in: join Patrick O’Laoghaire (I Have A Tribe) and Danny Forde for a Christmas Concert in Hugh Lane’s Sculpture Hall. Sing along to all your favourite Christmas Classics as these two talented musicians take you on a joyous journey.
  • Acoustic session in the café| 18.30 -20.00| Admission free, no booking required: Dublin folk band The Lags will be down in the café playing a gorgeous acoustic set. Wine bar will open until 8.15pm.
  • Festive Life Drawing (Drop in) | 18.00 | Free, no booking required: Join artist Ashleigh Downey for a drop-in mindful life drawing session in the wonderful setting of the Scully Gallery at Hugh Lane Gallery. All materials provided, no booking required.
