AC/DC, the legendary multi-million-selling band bring their ‘POWER UP’ European Tour to Croke Park Dublin on Saturday August 17th.

The ‘POWER UP’ tour, named for their latest studio album, which reached #1 in 21 countries. The band are playing 21 dates across Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium and France with a final show here at Croke Park.

‘POWER UP’ is the band’s first tour in Europe for eight years and will see them performing at some of the biggest stadiums across the continent.

AC/DC played their very first show on the 31st December 1973 at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia. They are one of the most influential rock bands in history, with over 200 million albums sold worldwide. The band’s ‘Back In Black’ LP is the ‘bestselling album by any band ever’ and the ‘third bestselling album by any artist’ with global sales of 50 million and counting. AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® in 2003 and into the Music Victoria Awards Hall of Fame in their native Australia. The band continue selling out stadiums on multiple continents, sell millions of albums annually and generate streams in the billions.

To honour their 50-year reign as the world’s greatest rock and roll band, AC/DC – Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and a new bass player to carry the torch for Cliff Williams, is back to play to their legion of dedicated fans, which grows with every passing year.

On Tuesday, 29 September 2026, five of Dublin's hottest up-and-coming acts, Soft Rules, SAOL, The Psychs, Conor Kinsella, and Punter, will take the stage for Irish Roulette, a one-night event where the running order isn't set backstage; it's set on a spinning wheel, by an audience member, live, in front of everyone. Here's how it works: all five names go up on the wheel. Through the night, punters get pulled up on stage to give it a spin, and whoever it lands on plays next. Nobody, not the bands, not the promoters, not the audience, knows the lineup until it's happening in real time.
