Dublin v Cork – GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Final

This event has ended

Croke Park, Saturday 5th July

Dublin and Cork will meet at Croke Park in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship semi-finals on Saturday, July 5. Throw-in is scheduled for 5pm.

The stars and planets aligned to have Dublin continue their summer into this weekend’s semi-final tie against Munster champions Cork.

They will need another earth-shattering performance to come out on top and pull off another shock in this championship.

Cork have not taken the pitch since their sensational penalty shoot-out win over Limerick in the Munster final, with the Lee all but drunk dry for the celebrations, but they may well need to fill it again in a few weeks.

The last time these two sides faced each other in last year’s quarter-final, with the Rebels coming out the other end as six-point winners against the Boys in Blue on their way to losing to Clare in the hurling showpiece.

This semi-final is part of a double-header with a Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship quarter-final between Clare and Waterford.
