UEFA Nations League – Republic of Ireland V Bulgaria

Ireland are set to face Bulgaria over two-legs in March to decide their UEFA Nations League fate as Heimir Hallgrímsson's side look to secure their League B status. Ireland will travel to Plovdiv for the first leg on Thursday, March 20, with kick-off at 7.45pm before returning to Dublin for the second leg on Sunday, March 23, with kick-off at 7.45pm.

It promises to be an exciting night under the lights at the Aviva Stadium with everything on line to secure Ireland's League B status which will help Ireland's cause in qualification for European Championships in the future.

Carla Ward has confirmed her first Ireland Women’s National Team squad as they prepare to get their 2025 UEFA Nations League campaign underway. Ireland will host France at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday 8th March during the penultimate round of the 2025 Six Nations Championship. Ireland claimed a 38-17 bonus-point victory over France during the 2024 Championship. Ireland and France have contested a total of 103 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1909. France have won 59 of those matches, whilst Ireland have won 37 matches. There have also been seven drawn matches between the two nations.
