Andres Calamaro

National Concert Hall, Saturday 12th July

Born in Buenos Aires in 1961, Calamaro began his music career as a teenager and gained prominence with the legendary band Los Abuelos de la Nada, penning timeless hits like Mil Horas. In the 1990s, he achieved international success with Los Rodríguez, delivering classics like Sin Documentos. As a solo artist, Calamaro has released over 20 albums, including his landmark work Honestidad Brutal (1999), which is now celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Undoubtedly one of the most important figures in Spanish-language rock, Calamaro continues to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his masterpiece, “Honestidad Brutal”. This timeless work, which contains some of his most iconic hits, still resonates with the same power it did a quarter-century ago and has undeniably become part of the soundtrack of our lives.

However, it is well known that Calamaro, as a true poet, has the delightful habit of changing his live setlist every one or two seasons. Therefore, this special tour is sure to feature surprises. He will be accompanied by his impressive band of masterful musicians: Germán Wiedemer (piano), Andrés Litwin (drums), Julián Kanevsky (guitar), Mariano Domínguez (bass), and Brian Figueroa (guitar).

In short, this tour promises to be an exciting journey and a heartfelt tribute to the album that has celebrated its silver anniversary this year.
