The pinnacle of Ireland’s Flat racing season, the Irish Champions Festival gallops back to Leopardstown and The Curragh for two incredible days of world-class racing, live music, unmissable entertainment and a premium sporting and social experience this September.

Celebrating its 11th year, the festival will feature six Group 1 races including the final Classic of the Irish Flat season – the highlight’s being the prestigious Royal Bahrain Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown and the Comer Group International Irish St Leger at The Curragh. Attendees can also enjoy the unique garden party atmosphere, a stellar lineup of live music acts, sample a mouth-watering array of food and beverages and family-friendly activities across both days.

A showcase of equine and human speed and skill, set against the backdrop of a vibrant festival atmosphere, Irish Champions Festival features the best Irish racehorses, trainers and jockeys taking on their leading counterparts from Japan, Australia, France, Germany and Britain, and is recognised as one of the leading international Flat racing festivals. With total prize money of €4.5 million, this dual-location event has become a premium sporting festival, not to be missed.

Bike Disco

Phoenix Park

Join us on Friday 20th September for a bike disco to celebrate Culture Night! This free 5km cycle is open to all ages, abilities & bike types! The route will be completely car-free so is a great opportunity for anyone with a bike to take part. Participants are encouraged to light up and decorate their bikes, helmets and outfits to make the event as colourful as possible! The cycle starts at 7.45pm and leaves from the Phoenix Roundabout at Chesterfield Avenue. This event is organised by Fingal County Council, the OPW, Dublin Cycling Campaign and Dublin City Council.
