Six Hands

This event has ended

National Concert Hall, Friday 5th July

The upcoming concert of pianists Máire Carroll, Billy O’Brien and Didzis Kalniņš presents a rare opportunity for audiences in Ireland to experience a performance by three pianists on a single piano, featuring repertoire expressly designed for this unique arrangement, including Sergei Rachmaninoff's ‘Two Pieces for Six Hands' (1890/91) and Carl Czerny's arrangement of Mozart's ‘Overture to the Marriage of Figaro’. These exciting six-hand ensemble works will be interspersed with solo performances by these three good friends, celebrating the breadth and dynamism of the piano (the king of instruments)!
