Aviva Stadium, Wednesday 22nd May

The UEFA Europa League Final 2024 between Atalanta and Bayer 04 Leverkusen will take place in the Dublin Arena on Wednesday 22nd May with an 8pm kick-off.

With a capacity in excess of 50,000, Dublin Arena is the home of the Republic of Ireland's national football and Ireland's rugby union team. First opened in 2010, the stadium is staging its second UEFA Europa League decider, having been the venue for the all-Portuguese final of 2011 between Porto and Braga, when Radamel Falcao scored the only goal as the Dragons took the trophy.

Serie A side Atalanta are through to their first ever European final after they defeated Marseille 4-1 on aggregate in the semis. They are joined by Bundesliga champions Leverkusen, who remain unbeaten this season and saw off Roma 4-2 on aggregate in their final-four encounter.

Prior to the match the UEFA Europa League Fan Festival will be in full swing in the centre of Dublin, kicking off on Tuesday 21 May in the lead-up to the final. It is open to everyone so come and join the electric atmosphere, meet fellow fans and get in the festive football spirit!

Fan Festival activities:

  • Get close to the official UEFA Europa League trophy
  • Try out some inflatable football activities
  • Take unique selfies with giant jerseys and team walls
  • Enjoy live entertainment and DJ sets
  • Grab souvenirs from the UEFA Europa League official shop

Be on the lookout for John O’Shea, the UEFA Europa League final ambassador! The former Republic of Ireland defender, a UEFA Champions League winner with Manchester United in 2008, will be at the Fan Festival.
