Join Brigit 2024: Dublin City Celebrating Women as we take to the streets and weave through the heart of Dublin City in a vibrant celebration of the strength and resilience of women!

Kicking off in front of The Church Café Bar on Mary Street, an eclectic mix of walkers, roller skaters, Brigits on bikes and more stroll through the heart of Dublin in a joyful tribute to the inspiring women who have come before us and those who will illuminate the future.

Joining the parade will be:
+ Brigits by Bike organised by Cllr Donna Cooney in partnership with the Dublin Cycling Campaign
+ Members of the 50 First Skates Ireland
+ Bishop Brigid performance by Áine Phillips
+ Members of the Macushla Dance Club 50+
+ Members AkiDwA, national network of migrant women living in Ireland
+ Feature the sound installation Whistling Space by Ruby Wallis created in collaboration with musician and composer Michael Smalle.

The parade will finish on O’Connell Street where spectators can experience an Brigit Rising Aerial Performance at the GPO at 17:30, 17:45 & 18:00

Starting point: Mary Street (The Church Café Bar)
Ending point: O'Connell Street (in front of the GPO)
