Coastival returns for nine days of family-friendly events celebrating Dún Laoghaire’s maritime heritage, culture, and community. Enjoy busking, film, tours, cruises, arts, and water-based activities across the town.
Highlights include Emergency Services Day (Sat 4 July), Family Fun Day at dlr LexIcon (Sat 11 July), and Atmosphere Family Day at Newtownsmith (Sun 12 July) featuring a spectacular kite display, workshops, shows, and live entertainment.
A Sensory Bus will be available on Family Day to support inclusive participation.
Coastival forms part of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council's ongoing commitment to creating inclusive, accessible, and engaging cultural experiences that showcase the area's coastal identity while supporting community connection and local businesses.
With events taking place across the festival period, Coastival 2026 promises a memorable celebration of culture, creativity, and community by the sea.
