Button Factory, Thursday 26th May

Midge Ure & The Electric Band announces ‘Voice & Visions’ tour Live at The Button Factory Celebrating 40 years since the release of Ultravox’s Rage In Eden and Quartet albums.

In those halcyon pre-pandemic days of touring, Midge's last major outing was a world tour, performing the 2 platinum selling albums that were released in 1980 – Ultravox's Vienna and Visage's eponymous first LP in which he was obviously majorly instrumental. He scraped back into the UK on March 19th 2020 just avoiding being stuck in Australia for the duration!

Since then of course there really haven't been any shows or tours which are the essential life-blood for a musician like Midge, so when the opportunity arose to do a “greatest hits” warm-up show in Dublin, he leapt at it! Ireland has always been a favourite destination for him.

Midge and his “rock band” will perform a set of some of his biggest hits along with a few rarer songs at the Button Factory on May 26th 2021.
