3Olympia Theatre, Friday 3rd December

Irish purveyors of hook-heavy indie-rock scorchers The Academic are excited to announce their first Dublin show in almost 3 years at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre on Friday 3rd December 2021

Following the incredible reception the band received at their recent main stage performance at Reading & Leeds festival, their first live show with an audience since lockdown, the band are excited to be back on homeground and playing full capacity shows again.

Lead singer Craig Fitzgerald says “Just before lockdown we hardly had a free date in the diary. All of a sudden everything just came to a halt and we had to hit pause on all our global touring commitments. This headline show at 3Olympia is going to be really special, not to mention it will be our first time to play at such an iconic venue.
