Protecting hope, in uncertain times

This event has ended

Online, Saturday 2nd May

Is it possible to maintain a genuinely optimistic outlook on life and authentic hope for the future, in the midst of the uncertain times we find ourselves in, and the uncertain future that lies ahead, as a result of the impact of the global pandemic? Thankfully, Yes!

In this morning meditation retreat, Kadam Adam will introduce us to, and guide us in, deeply relaxing and inspiring meditations and insights – that Buddha taught – that have proven effective for centuries in helping anyone navigate their way through uncertain and challenging times, and come out the other side of it, more at peace with life, stronger, happier and more resilient.

We will explore what authentic hope is, and how we can protect our hope, through meditation practices and insights that help us cultivate healthier and wiser ways of how we relate to ourselves, our potential, others and the world around us.

We will learn meditation skills to help us identify unhealthy emotions – such as anxiety and fear – as they arise, without feeling identified with, and stuck in them. We will learn how to let them go, and maintain an increasingly calm, peaceful and positive mind and outlook on life, whatever comes our way.

We are a registered charity run entirely by volunteers, no-one receives a salary. The funds we receive are used to pay for our operating expenses. We appreciate that current times are financially challenging for some. If you have difficulty affording our fees please get in touch to discuss a concession.
