RIAM Open Day – Each year the Royal Irish Academy of Music hosts an Open Day for prospective full-time students. It is a great opportunity for you to discover if this is the place for you, soak up the atmosphere, and get all your questions answered. Open Day events include:

  • Information sessions on our courses that includes Diploma, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees in Music Performance and Composition.
  • Breakout sessions with our Heads of Vocal Studies and Opera, Strings, Keyboard, Composition and Wind/Brass/Percussion.
  • Presentations on performance opportunities with student performances.
  • Q&A sessions with current students on life at the RIAM.
  • Tours of the campus.

Jam-packed with performances, workshops, tours and information sessions, the annual RIAM Third Level Open Day affords aspiring full-time students of Ireland's oldest music conservatoire a valuable opportunity to explore the diverse offering of full-time courses, and experience life at the Academy.

Interactive Storytelling Tour

Make your Gallery visits more fun and engaging with curious questions and creative storytelling! In this tour we use easy exercises and improv games that explore how we look at, speak about and interact with art in a variety of ways. Join Marise de Grip from Active Social Connections to learn how to have conversations about art, to think outside the box and appreciate different perspectives.
