Whelan's, Thursday 10th October

JyellowL – Born of Jamaican and Nigerian parents and raised in Ireland, rapper JyellowL has drawn on all three aspects of his background to create a sound and vision that sets him apart. Having been named as one of 2FM Rising's acts for 2019, the year has seen a string of video and audio releases, culminating in the fiery Tek Time (via Dutch label Gentlemen Records). This was featured on Spotify's New Music Friday and influential Who We Be playlists.

Live JyellowL has made great strides with his London and Belfast debuts (A very memorable co-headline with Kneecap in Belfast) and appeared at Longitude, Body & Soul, Music Cork, Band On The Strand and Knockanstockan as well as upcoming headline shows in the UK and the Netherlands including a performance at Delft Jazz festival in Holland. Currently working on his first album for release in 2020, he will play his largest headline show to date at Whelan's, Dublin – re-telling the story so far and performing everything he has released up until that point backed by a live band that includes some of the most skilled musicians working in Ireland today.

Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade

Pavilion Theatre

Four young people, one an Olympic champion. Tangled relationships. Forbidden love, twice over. An unsuccessful assassination. An execution avoided.
