‘Bike Week’ is a celebration and promotion of the benefits of cycling and takes place from Saturday 11th May to Sunday 19th May. Cycling is one of the most sustainable forms of travel and a family friendly activity. As a transport option cycling has one of the lowest impacts on the planet and the environment, impacting positively on air and noise pollution. Events are happening across the county.

he very first WellFest took place in September 2015 in Herbert Park, Dublin. The festival was created by 4 founders; Helena and Katie Ryan, Fionnualla Cleary and Anthony Kelly. The founders loved music festivals… But they were also huge fans of health and wellness. So they decided to create a festival that had music festival vibes… But with fitness icons instead of music groups, and avocados in place of alcohol! Darkness Into Light 2024, proudly supported by Electric Ireland, will take place at 4:15am on the morning of Saturday May 11th 2024. There are lots of ways to get involved. You can take part in a Darkness Into Light official walk, Take Part in Your Own Way, or you can create your own DIL Fundraiser by holding a bake sale, a car wash, a sponsored silence, a run, or a swim and fundraising with your family, friends and colleagues in your local area. Join an Official Walk With over 200 official walks across Ireland and abroad, you can come together with your community and be part of the mos
