Engineers Week is an annual nationwide campaign that has been created to introduce primary and secondary school children to the diverse world of engineering.

Engineers Week 2026 will take place from Saturday, 28 February – Friday, 6 March 2026.

You are invited to get involved and inspire young people in your local community. The success of the week depends on you, engineering organisations and schools. It’s easy to get involved! Resources and support materials are available to help plan your Engineers Week 2026 events and activities. Click on the links below to get a few ideas.

The aims of the week include:

  •  Encourage young people, their teachers and parents to explore the fun world of engineering.
  • Generate interest and enthusiasm for engineering in their everyday lives.
  • Inspire young people to explore engineering career paths.
  • Highlight the diverse opportunities engineering offers.
