Great Dublin Bike Ride

On the 17th September 2023, 5,000 riders will set out for the Great Dublin Bike Ride

The event will offer a challenging 100km route for experienced riders and a 60km route for beginners or those looking for a slightly less strenuous day in the saddle. This year we will include a new 140km timed route. Great Dublin Bike Ride is the only cycling event of its kind to happen in Dublin.

The event will start and finish in the Sport Ireland Sports Campus in Blanchardstown, with feed stations available for riders, as well as medical and mechanical support along the route.

All finishers will receive an exclusive Great Dublin Bike Ride medal, goodie bag, refreshments at food stops along the route and at finish line.

Number collection available pre event only or by post. No collection on the morning of the event.

• 60km route – designed for the novice cyclist
• 100km route – designed for the intermediate regular cyclist
• 140km route – aimed at the experienced club cyclist who cycles on a regular basis and is after a challenge
