Seachtain na Gaeilge le Energia is an international Irish language festival , which is the biggest celebration of our native language and culture that takes place in Ireland and around the world every year.

Everyone is given the opportunity to enjoy the Irish language by taking part in the festival, including native speakers, learners and those with a few words, by providing a calendar of entertaining and fun events for all types of interest and all age groups.

Voluntary and community groups, local councils, schools, libraries, and music, sports, art and cultural organizations organize events in their own area for Sheachtain na Gaeilge.

The Irish language belongs to everyone, every community belongs to Seachtain na Gaeilge with Energia – Try It – Surprise Yourself!

Celebrating 150 Years : The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club For a century and a half, "Dublin: Then and Now" has been a subject often visited for artistic inspiration by members of the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club. This theme will once again be explored in the latest exhibition, taking place at the Cowshed Gallery, Farmleigh from the 4th to the 19th of May 2024. "Dublin: Then and Now" will exhibit over 70 works from Club Members that capture the evolving essence and enduring charm of Dublin and its environs. For over 13 years, the conflict in Syria has affected millions of lives through violence, poverty, and political insecurity. Concern Worldwide, with support from The European Union, is still on the ground in Syria, implementing an integrated programme in Education, WASH, Protection, Cash, Coordination and Shelter.
