The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club - 148th Annual Exhibition - is open to the public from Monday 14th until Sunday 27th September, in the Town Hall space of the Windmill Quarter. The exhibition includes painting, drawing, printmaking and mixed-media work by established and emerging artists from across Ireland. The Club was formed in October 1874, its aims were 'to bring together artists, amateurs and others interested in art and the holding of public exhibitions.' FREE Piano performances live and outdoor in Dublin City. Experience wonderful piano performances featuring baroque, classical, romantic, contemporary and minimalist music in the heart of Dublin. Immerse yourself in solo and four hand performances, as talented young pianists transform the sound of the city from 1pm on Thursday 17 September and Saturday 19 September. The performances are the second and third in the Dublin City Council and Dublin International Piano Competition Street Piano Series. The recitals commence at 1pm. The 21st edition of Culture Night will take place on Friday 18th September 2026. Museums, galleries, cathedrals, artist studios, libraries, parks, historic landmarks, government buildings, theatres, music venues, community centres, and more will open their doors to the public as the city comes alive with exhilarating live acts, specially curated tours, hands-on workshops, pop-up performances, and many more bespoke one-night-only events. Special and unique events and workshops are specifically programmed at participating locations and, thanks to the continued support of the Arts Council a
