Opium Live, Friday 20th March

Music for a Jilted Generation – A night for Pieta House in memory of Keith Flint of The Prodigy, at Opium Live Dublin.

Back by massive demand, Opium Live in Dublin will host one of the biggest events in Ireland to celebrate the life and music of Keith Flint from The Prodigy. 100% of the money raised from ticket sales and donations will go directly to Pieta House – a charity organisation dedicated to improving mental health and preventing suicide. The project was started by Declan Pierce (Today FM) with the help of Brian Kennedy and the team at Opium, and forms part of a tour taking in Ireland and the UK. The overall aim of the tour is to celebrate the life and music of Keith Flint and The Prodigy while raising funds for Pieta House and general awareness of mental health and suicide prevention.

Pieta House tackle the issues of suicide and self-harm day after day, issues that have touched every community in Ireland. They have grown to almost 270 therapists and administration staff and the demand for services hasn't let up. In 2018 alone, nearly 8,000 people went through their doors suffering from suicidal ideation and/or engaging in self-harm, or to avail of suicide bereavement counselling. They rely on the generosity of the public, whose donations and fundraising make up over 85% of their income. Donate here.
