The festival also includes free public events, and a wonderful show, SEO Í RITA, featuring Máire Zepf and Mr. Ando, based on the series of books about Rita, on which the tv series on CULA4 is based, will take place in the Studio in the Lexicon in Dún Laoghaire 2:30-3:15pm on Thursday 8 May (age 5-8).

Sadhbh will also be in Rathmines Library on Saturday 10 May at 12pm-12:45pm and 2pm-2:45pm.

If you have a child at home who likes to use their imagination, bring them along to the creative writing workshop FIGHTING WORDS na GAEILGE with Ola Majekodunmi, 2pm-4pm Saturday 10 May in Deansgrange Library (age 8-10).

Children of any age are welcome to come along to the Book Clinic, also in Deansgrange Library on Saturday from 12-4pm, where they can chat to the Book Doctor and get advice about the books they might like to read.
