This Brigit’s Day, we celebrate the flâneuse—the female flâneur—acknowledging how women experience and engage with urban spaces in deeply personal and intuitive ways. Join us for a leisurely walk through Dublin's streets, sketching and uncovering everyday places rich in history and connected to iconic Irish women.

Led by illustrator Eva Kelly, known for her art inspired by people, places, and daily moments, this guided urban sketching tour will invite you to slow down, observe, and reimagine well-known landmarks through the lens of the women who once walked these streets. Come explore Dublin’s hidden histories while rediscovering your own connection to the city.

Dublin Painting & Sketching Club Annual Exhibition

The 147th Annual Exhibition of the Dublin Painting & Sketching Club is open to the public from Monday 15th until Saturday 28th September, in the Town Hall space of the Windmill Quarter. The Club was formed in October 1874, its aims were 'to bring together artists, amateurs and others interested in art and the holding of public exhibitions.' In the 21st century these aims remain in place. Opening Times: • Monday to Saturday - 10.30am - 4.30pm • Sunday - 12.00pm - 4.00pm Culture Night - Friday 19th September - Open until 8pm
