Skerries Ukulele Festival

Our festival will bring Ukulele lovers together from all over Ireland and abroad to make music, learn new skills, have fun and share our love of music and song with all. The festival will feature a full day of entertainment including a beginners Introduction to Ukulele Workshop, with instruments provided, Master Class Workshops on Chords and Rhythm , a Busk on the Festival Bus visiting three local landmarks for tunes and crack at Balbriggan Harbour Summerfest, Ardgillan Castle and the Man O ‘ War Pub, an evening Concert in Skerries Sailing Club featuring Skerries Ukulele Strummers, The Paris Ukulele Group, Polythene Jam and Rugs followed by a free jam.

Watch out also for flash mobs around the Town of Skerries during the day which will create a fun atmosphere in our beautiful setting beside the sea.

The Head2Head Walk is one of the most popular events in our calendar of events each year. This iconic walk from Howth Head to Bray Head takes you along a stunning coastal walk from Howth to Bray, through the city centre and stopping at Sandymount strand for lunch.
