Registration is open for the MU Open Days on November 27th and 28th.

Maynooth University’s open days will be in a virtual format this year. They will offer prospective students a comprehensive overview of student life at Maynooth University, all you want to know about courses and programmes, clubs and societies, sport scholarships and other extracurricular aspects of college life.

Two days, two experiences to give prospective Maynooth University students the full picture.

Three Bridges Rally 2026

This year’s Three Bridges Rally will take place on Saturday 5 September. We’ll muster at Poolbeg Marina before parading up and down the Liffey at 14:30. We’ll spend the night rafted on the Liffey Pontoon beside the 3Arena. In the morning we’ll leave with the St Bridget at 11:00. The Lord Mayor of Dublin will be leading the parade aboard a motor yacht, and will address participants and the press afterwards. Our host ashore will be the Clayton Hotel, where we have the use of a new function room for the evening. Dinner will be followed by some presentations and informal entertainmen

South Dublin County Council invites the public to enjoy two free outdoor opera performances this September as part of a new cultural initiative bringing live opera to some of the county's most scenic parkland settings. "Opera in the Park" will see two professionally staged performances take place in South Dublin's public parks, offering residents and visitors an opportunity to experience opera in a relaxed outdoor environment.
