We are delighted to be joined by Dani Sheil, who will take us through a session on mindfulness for resilience, something during these trying times is of utmost importance.

Everyone has experienced mindful moments. It may have been walking on a beautiful beach, enjoying a run through the woods or even holding an infant. Just a simple moment where we are totally present not worried about the future or the past.

Mindfulness practice is about harnessing our ability to be present. A daily practice teaches us to train the mind into savouring the good moments and to approach events that disturb you with composure. It trains us to be fully alive and present.

With the current situation we are all experience some form of trauma. Mindfulness is an amazing coping mechanism that can bring some positivity to a very difficult time.

This 30 minute presentation gives you an outline of some of the benefits of Mindfulness, a bit of the science behind how it works and some practices for you to embody it’s affects within yourself.

ALL YOU NEED IS YOURSELF AND AN ATTITUDE OF CURIOSITY AND INQUIRY.
