Holly Hudson – Fine, Actually

This event has ended

Craic Den Comedy @ The Workman's Club, Thursday 17th September

50 minutes of stand-up and storytelling about a midlife American woman abroad who attempts to defend, explain, and occasionally apologize for her country of origin. Cultural collision, reinvention, and the specific modern experience of trying to stay composed while privately refreshing the news like you’ve been personally assigned to monitor the apocalypse. The political and the personal keep colliding — which turns out to be the whole point.

Holly Hudson came up on the London circuit and has since performed at Laugh Factory Chicago, Second City, and Zanies. Originally from the Midwest, now based between London, Paris, and LA, she does sharp, politically charged comedy about midlife, Americans abroad — and has built a 325K platform with 70M+ viral views doing exactly that.
