Witches, Bitches & Goddesses Honour Brigit

TBC, Sunday 1st February

An intimate performance of the 8 piece song cycle, this time dedicated to Brigit as we celebrate her legacy this time of year.

Witches, Bitches & Goddesses is a performance project which draws inspiration from Slavic and Celtic mythology, focusing on female archetypes, and intertwines expressions of the personal and artistic development of the collaborators, through the lenses of their individual cultural heritage.

The concert is a live performance of WBG's debut album and features 8 tracks; an electronic-driven, vocal focused devotional offering to the divine feminine. The music has been thoughtfully created to reflect different points in the year, honouring the natural flow of life and the elements- fire, water, earth, air and void.

For this special event, the performance will be dedicated to Brigit as a triple Goddess. Her representation as Maiden, Mother and Crone is directly reflected in our album artwork and in the archetypes that are the subject of our songs.

WBG are Jelena Soro (SI) and Jennifer McMahon (IRL).

This is an intimate event hosted in someone's home. The audience will be invited to sit or stand with a maximum capacity of 30 people. The full address will be provided to ticket holders two days before the event. The address is in Dublin 7.

Accessibility: There are 2 steps at the entrance of the house. There is a bathroom available on the ground floor.

Brigit x District Gemma Dunleavy

Abbey Presbyterian Church

Brigit x District opens the festival weekend with a rare headline performance from Gemma Dunleavy. Since the release of UP DE FLATS in 2020, Dunleavy has largely stepped away from releasing music, choosing instead to refine her sound behind the scenes. Her return for Brigit feels timely. Rooted in stories of working-class Dublin and shaped by her upbringing in Sheriff Street, her club-pop songs balance emotional clarity with sharp, understated production. Set within the intimate surroundings of the Presbyterian Church, this show offers a focused live moment to mark Brigit: Dublin City Ce
